Cog is now in universal binary form. Check out alpha 3 over in the testing section. If anybody runs an intel mac, see if it even works. I don't have one, so I'm flying blind here as to if it actually runs.
If anybody is game, I'd like to know the performance of alpha 3 vs alpha 2, or vs ppc if you are running on intel. I had to disable altivec in some of the frameworks, and I'd like to know what kind of performance impact people are experiencing.
Much thanks to Stephen Booth, developer of Tag and Max, over at sbooth.org for providing some of the universal binary frameworks.

What's this? A shiny new website? Amazing! What could this possibly mean?! Well, right now it means Alpha 2 is available over in the testing section.
More to come. Stay tuned.

It's time to put SourceForge.net to use. I have created a testing section, with a link to the left. Go there to download Cog 0.05 alpha 1, and get instructions on how to report bugs/crashes. Make sure to check it every now and then to see if a new alpha has been released, since automatic update checking will not work between alphas.

I moved the source code repository over to Subversion. The download page is updated. If anyone comes across any errors in the repository that may have been caused by the CVS->SVN migration, send me an email. Enjoy!

Cog is dead. I've decided that Ogg Vorbis, Flac, et al. just aren't worth the effort. All instances of Cog out there will be set to detonate tonight at midnight UTC. Oh wait, is today April Fools? What a horrible day.
In real news, I finally got my iBook back last week, after some snafu with them not shipping the return box. So, I'm back to work with Cog. On a side note, I'd like to get Cog working on intel macs, but I don't have one, which makes it hard to test things. If anyone with developer experience and an intel mac want to help me out, send me an email please.
